This is a relatively small Hard Rock Cafe, but at a great location right across from the beach. The views are beautiful if you can get a table facing the beach. They serve the typical Hard Rock Foods, which were pretty good. The only problem was that the service was extremely slow, and not because it was crowded, but because the staff is just hanging out with each other. So if you want good service stay on top of them.
Hard Rock Cafe is always a rewarding experience. Every country I go to, that has one, I always make an effort to eat there at least once, and it keeps living up to the expectations. It's more than just the food, it is enjoying a nice meal, with good music and iconic items from the music industry. Whether it's guitars or shoes used or signed by famous musicians, pictures of them and at times even customized menu items in their honor. To top it off they reward you with great costumer service and a nice convenience store for musicians I always buy the drumsticks The Cape Town Hard Rock Cafe lived up to all that. The food was great, the drinks amazing and it had a rich music industry environment that gives me reasons to go back.
Overall amazing time was had. We had the most phenomenal waitress and her recommendations was the best. Food and drinks were perfect. We haven't experienced such amazing customer service in forever. Thank you Hard Rock Cafe, you'll see us again and we definitely will recommend you!
Burger was really really tasty! Google suggested Hard Rock for their burger and was definitely not disappointed. R170 is a bit on the pricey side, however the burger was a very decent size - just the bun leave room for improvement! Can definitely recommend the BBQ Bacon Burger! Steak salad was extremely disappointing however! R180 for maybe 100ish grams of steak, with a full bed of nothing but lettuce and awkwardly large tomato chunks. Seem excessively for that salad. Would not recommend the salads. Not even a cucumber and I think three pieces of red pepper? Cocktails are always amazing though!
The restaurant trading hour starts at 9am. Hard Rock Cafe is part of The Promenade Mall in front of Camps Bay beach. They also provide kids menu which are around R50 & kids activity sheet to entertain your kids. The portion is quite big for the Ribs and it's good. The fruit juice is not a fresh juice. I've actually never been to a Hard Rock Cafe before. So this was a first time experience. From what I understand the concept to be, my experience was right on point. All the staff were very polite and helpful, the food was good and the vibe was there. Really found the paraphernalia on the walls and the eclectic decor very interesting. All-in-all, it was a worthwhile experience!
This wasn’t hard rock cafe but A STARBUCKS! Nice coffee as usual hahaha… we were there a very short while so cant really say anything about it but that the serve was good
Not a fan of the service, nobody came to ask if we ready to order or check up on us. I believe in good customer service. The great part about this place was the dj and he played great music. The waiters are too busy vibing, might be part of the creating and atmosphere I don't know.Service: 2/5
I think attention to detail is important in every business, I’m also under the impression that this brand is overhyped or it could be that this specific branch is not under a good management. Firstly our waiter was all over the show, he seemed to be the only waiter working upstairs, other colleagues just hanging out downstairs & actually we showed ourselves up. Our waiter forgot stuff we asked from him. Secondly, the food, chicken & fish was not up-to restaurant standard very dry & the chicken had no salt at all. I didn’t even eat my fries at all, respectfully. I think I make better fries at home. I was really disappointed. I prolly had high expectations knowing the brand “Hard Rock” The place itself is quite nice, beautiful views but I think it’s more a bar than a restaurant very loud music & people smoking hubbly. The couple next to us had 2 kids around and the other table was smoking Shisha. Wouldn’t want that for my kids. You could see the dryness of the chicken & fish even on pictures provided. Money Defs went to waste here.
We had an amazing lunch and cocktails and was so impressed by the waitress bubbly personality and knowledge of the menu, ingredients and her recommendations. We had a member who has celiac gluten allergy and the chef made a seperate meal with chips and wings fried separately. Was so refreshing to eat out where the wait staff and chef is aware of and willing to assist with allergies. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free Dairy free
